In the new year 2022, Undiksha received a visit from the DPD RI Anak Agung Gede Agung as a representative from Bali who voiced aspirations at the central level. The visit to socialize Law No. 43 of 2007 was held in Ganesha Room 3, Ganesha Education University, attended by Deputy Chancellor 3 Prof.Dr.I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd, Chair of the Undiksha Senate Prof.Dr. I Nyoman Sudiana, M.Pd, Head of the Academic, Student Affairs, Planning, and Cooperation Bureau, Drs. I Made Yasa, Head of the Undiksha Library Dr. Made Hery Griadhi Wihardika, SH., M.Sc., Head of UPT ICT I Ketut Resika Arthana, S.T., M. Kom. ,3 Undiksha librarians, Ni Putu Pramita Utami, S.Pd, I Made Putra Subagia Antara, S.Pt., Ni Kadek Etik Suparmini, S.Sos., BEM Undiksha, and student representatives.
In the presentation, the representative of the DPD RI conveyed the importance of strengthening information literacy by providing supporting facilities and infrastructure such as books as references that the younger generation can use to enhance national ties. The younger generation is also expected to have a leadership spirit to display the positive side and ward off negative influences in state life. The younger generation is expected to be able to provide understanding to the community and the surrounding environment based on the principle of “Logos, Ethos, Pathos and Agora.” Asked about whether to accept the construction of an airport in North Bali by student representatives, this council member who once served as the Regent of Badung answered politically that he supported the airport development considering that in the South Bali area, the transportation flow is very creditable and efforts to equalize the economy can be pursued with the construction of the North Bali Airport. In the event, several books were also handed over that could become pillars to strengthen the life of the nation and state.
